Tamarindo Wildlife Refuge protects a large estuary, mangrove forest and tropical dry forest in an area covering almost 500 hectares.

At this time a small and slight boat takes you to the narrow canals observing on both sides at time. Will be able to observe closer rare and abundant wildlife – including dozens of bird species and two species of monkeys - while learning about the unique ecosystem of the mangrove forest.
