Santa Rosa is a combination of extensive dry forest, fauna and history. A cattle hacienda in the last century was the scene of one of the most important battles in Costa Rica´s history. This old house called La Casona is now a museum that conserves historic objects, as old furniture, pictures of former presidents of Costa Rica and of old Guanacaste.
